The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mark Richardson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Cliff Turner

A Tom story. Tom and I went to Public School together and played lots of Minor Hockey together. Tom was such a big guy. At a hockey game in Elora (about 60 years ago) I can remember Tom shooting from centre ice and scoring in the top of the net. The thing that was so impressive about the shot was that the rest of us took great pride if we could "hoost" the puck ankle high for a few feet. The second thing about the shot was that Tom got the puck in the right net. He scored a few beauties in our own net over the years. I recall Tom several years later in a swim meet in the Beatty pool. He was doing the front crawl. He was like a motor boat. Could he swim!!. So many years since I saw my friend but my memory is of a kind, happy boy with a rather loud infectious laugh. I'm sure he never changed. You will be missed Tom. RIP. Your friend, Cliff Turner.
