The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mark Richardson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Pete and Jan Walker
Condolence: Tom's Family--- Sending out condolences from the Walker family. Glad and Jack were often at the farm with Dot and Lorne and friends and travelled far and wide with that group. We purchased a lot of vehicles from Richardsons over the last 50 years-suburbans, avalanches, Tahoes , farm trucks and corvettes. It was always a pleasure doing business with Tom and family. Treasure your memories!! jan, pete, matt and Luke

Condolence From: Cliff Turner
Condolence: A Tom story. Tom and I went to Public School together and played lots of Minor Hockey together. Tom was such a big guy. At a hockey game in Elora (about 60 years ago) I can remember Tom shooting from centre ice and scoring in the top of the net. The thing that was so impressive about the shot was that the rest of us took great pride if we could "hoost" the puck ankle high for a few feet. The second thing about the shot was that Tom got the puck in the right net. He scored a few beauties in our own net over the years.
I recall Tom several years later in a swim meet in the Beatty pool. He was doing the front crawl. He was like a motor boat. Could he swim!!.
So many years since I saw my friend but my memory is of a kind, happy boy with a rather loud infectious laugh. I'm sure he never changed. You will be missed Tom. RIP. Your friend, Cliff Turner.

Condolence: Please accept our deepest condolences in the passing of Mr. Richardson. May I please write to his family about a memory that has stayed with me all my life of a hockey trip with Tom and the last time I remember him. We were seventeen year old team mates on the Fergus Juvenile team and had a game one foggy night in Milton Ontario. Tom was driving, I was in the back seat with Johnny Buzz the trainer and I can't remember who was in the front seat. It might have been Jim Barr. We took the back roads and after we passed through Acton, we hit thick fog. I think we were late for the game so Tom was flying and straddling the centre line in the fog. Johnny Buzz peeked over the front seat and said "b b b b b he's doing a hundred miles an hour" and was so scared he just slid off his seat in the back, no seat belts back then, onto the floor which was probably a good idea if we ever hit anything! We made it and made it back. Not sure who won but as I sit here now thinking of that night I would like to believe that Tom showed me the same life spirit that I had through my life and we both lived life to the fullest.

Condolence: Tom you were a great friend,and an awesome man. You will be truly missed RIP dear friend.

God saw you getting weary,
He did what he thought best;
He put His arms around you
And said, “Come and rest.”
On that heartbreaking day,
And with His arms around you
You gently slipped away.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
A part of us went with you
The day God called you home
