Grant and Rebecca Wissler

Please accept our deepest condolences in the passing of Mr. Richardson. May I please write to his family about a memory that has stayed with me all my life of a hockey trip with Tom and the last time I remember him. We were seventeen year old team mates on the Fergus Juvenile team and had a game one foggy night in Milton Ontario. Tom was driving, I was in the back seat with Johnny Buzz the trainer and I can't remember who was in the front seat. It might have been Jim Barr. We took the back roads and after we passed through Acton, we hit thick fog. I think we were late for the game so Tom was flying and straddling the centre line in the fog. Johnny Buzz peeked over the front seat and said "b b b b b he's doing a hundred miles an hour" and was so scared he just slid off his seat in the back, no seat belts back then, onto the floor which was probably a good idea if we ever hit anything! We made it and made it back. Not sure who won but as I sit here now thinking of that night I would like to believe that Tom showed me the same life spirit that I had through my life and we both lived life to the fullest.
