One of a Kind

I've sat here thoughout the week reading all these wonderful stories about Tim that I thought I should share some of my thoughts.  Tim and I worked at Sporting Life for over 20 years.  We started at about the same time and quickly became friends.  You couldn't help but gravitate to the guy he was so outragous and funny. He was so funny in a child like way.  He would make you laugh even if it meant goofing on himself by a flickering his eyeblows or something like that.  We grew through the ranks at the store and I was fortunate enough to have Tim as my store trainer.  He was a great first face of the store.  His enthusiam and passion spilled out and really help the staff embrace the store.  Any concerns the staff had they were quick to go to Tim as they knew he cared and would look after them.  Tim and I often walked home together to share stories of family, friends and life in general.  Those walks often turned into a trip to Tim Horton,s or the Candy Mountain.  He loved his sweets and his go to snacks often included a Coke and a Big Turk.  That in its self made me laugh as he often had one stored in his pocket.  I always knew the time would come for Tim to leave the store and I was so happy when he choose to be a teacher as I knew he would be one of the great ones and he sure was.  Tim knew how to spread laughter, kindest, caring and thoughtfulness to everyone he came in contact with.  I had the pleasure of meeting Tim's family thoughout the years and I want to express my sincere condolences and hope they can find some comfort during this very difficult time.

Tim thanks for being such a great friend, you were one of a kind.  See you on the other side brother.
