Margaret's Lasting Legend

Margaret knew each of her Westies well and they knew exactly what she expected of them. She had such outstanding communications with them and was perhaps the top notch authority on the breed itself. I watched her eyeball a few of the contenders at a show and she could predict the dogs coming conduct to the letter. She needed few words and little time to access a Westie. If Margaret declared nap time her Westies barreled over and each jumped into their own crate. Every one of her dogs loved her dearly and aimed to please her. If a male was giving a brougish dissertation the word "enough" respectfully stopped him. A 2x4 laid at the entrance of a room reminded her dogs not to endulge in an area that was Margaret's personal territory. Margaret had leadership qualities rarely seen in others. In many ways she certainly was the pack leader at home and amoung Westie breeders. Her legend will continue and thoughts of her will burn brightly forever. Margaret touched the hearts of so many pups and owners.
