This is all so very very sad. Leona's dad Alex was my father Bob Brown's best friend. They were together the night my father was killed in New Victoria by a hit and run drunk driver. Alex, Beatrice, Leona, Willie Joe, and Josephine spent many happy times visiting with our family. Leona and I grew to be friends. We were the same age. She was a lovely girl. Always happy and kind. Being the oldest she was often taking care of the younger ones and helping her Mom. I visited her Mom Beatrice on my visits to New Waterford and she kept me posted on Leon's successful and happy life in Ontario. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. I pray you will all be comforted by the warm loving memories of Leona and times you shared. May God Grant you Peace at this difficult time.
