Condolence: So very sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Williams. I had the pleasure of working at RWDI for a bit in the Marketing department and Reception. Mr. Williams was my favorite partner and was forever asking me to please call him "Colin". To which I would always, reply, I'm sorry sir, I'll try but it's a respect thing. And his reply was always that "sir" was worse lol. He would laugh, I would laugh and off he would go. He was a very genuine, nice man who always has a smile and a bounce in his step. I never felt "uncomfortable" around him as he just seemed to have an aura of serenity about him. I worked there during the September 11th attacks and will never forget watching the horror unfold in the conference room and crying uncontrollably. Mr Williams, lol, sorry sir, I mean Colin, made a point of asking me later how I was doing and we had a lengthy conversation. I told him how worried I was about a particular "friend" who worked at Port Authority, and whom I had had frequent contact with over a project I had been working on. He asked her name and told me he would see what he could find out for me. About 10 days later he made a point to have someone cover the reception, asked if he could speak to me in the conference room (don't mind saying I was a LITTLE nervous lol), and when we were both seated, he took my hands and very gently told me that he had found out that my friend did indeed perish that day. The fact that he was thoughtful enough to make arrangements to be able to tell me the news privately, and that he even took the time to find out was incredible. I'm sure his loss will be felt for a long time by his wife and children and their families and by the RWDI Family as well. Heaven got a truly GREAT angel on September 17th.

Condolence: Dear Kathy and Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Colin and want to express our sincerest condolences. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Ever since becoming golf buddies at BSM, we have always looked forward to our time together. Golf, dinners or just sharing a laugh over a beer were all enriched by his presence. We will always cherish those great memories. We are so thankful for having known him even for a time that was far too short.

Condolence: Dear Kathy and family,
We were so sorry to hear about your loss and our thoughts are with you during this very difficult time. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet Colin this past winter in BSM and he was warm, funny and always up for whatever the group planned. Every beautiful sunset, every great day on the links and just cooling off with beer in hand at the pool will bring back warm and happy memories of the new friend we had the honor to make.

Condolence: Kathy and family...so sorry to hear of Colin's death.
We met Colin and Kathy at the Burnt Store Marina Golf Course when we where finishing golfing and I saw Colin closing his van back hatch and noticed the Ontario license plate. We stuck up conversation and eventually introduced ourselves to realize that we where both named Colin and subsequently realized we both liked to sail. We exchanged phone numbers and later got out for a sail together. Colin was a great source of knowledge for fishing and motor boating on Charlotte Harbour, Fl. I ended up calling him on several occasions to pick his brains on boats which he was keen to share. We meant to get out golfing with Colin and Kathy...but that never happened, but we did look back from the tee blocks of Pelican 8 hoping to spot Colin and Kathy enjoying their home in Florida. I could sense from his conversations he was very proud of all in his family. The last time we spoke Colin was just realizing his degree of illness. Our sympathy to all of Colin's family. He was a very enjoyable guy.

Condolence: Colin, what a wonderful brother in-law!
Whenever Colin and I had a one on one conversation, not only did he listen to me, he actually heard me. He made me feel that I mattered. I can honestly say that I have never had a negative thought abut him. Always a smile. Always a positive energy.
Beyond that, as I see it he was the perfect partner for Kath.
He was a wonderful Dad.
What a devastating lost for all of us who had the honour to know him and share a part of his life!
Love to all of you always
XOXO
Jane
