Obituary

Born in the farming community of Belwood; to all who knew him, he was a warm friendly gentleman, with a gentle sweet spirit, a strong work ethic and a sense of humour that always shone through; often captured in his grin or a little sparkle in his eyes.

In 1952, He married Marian Isabel Martin (nee Paton) and together they raised four children. Sadly he was predeceased by his stepson Ronald (Ronnie) Martin in 1955.

In his 94th year, Wilfred passed into eternity on June 15, 2019, leaving behind his beloved wife, Marian of 68 years; his two sons Larry (Karen) and Randy (Julia) and his daughter Debbie (Don Speers).

Blessed with 11 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, Grandpa Clark will be greatly missed but gave to each, cherished memories to treasure and share.

Great gratitude is extended to staff at Heritage River and Wellington Terrace for the compassionate care given to our Dad. As well, we give thanks to Dr. John Stickney.

The family has chosen a private family memorial service. There will not be a visitation preceding the service; however the family would encourage those who knew their father to take a few moments to honour him in your own way. For those that wish to make a donation in his remembrance please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Society.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Buster. His smile and gentleness will not be forgotten! As a young girl I had the extreme privilege to be able to visit Aunt Marion and Uncle Buster and cousins Larry, Randy and Debbie many times while at Grandma and Grandpa Clarks ' for summer holidays. There was no better example of a hardworking loving family with always room for one more. Uncle Buster' s lighthearted laughter at the corner of his mouth and twinkle in his eye was always close to the surface and eagerly shared. Hard work and helping others was part of his DNA. I extend my heartfelt sympathy and prayers of comfort to you Aunt Marion, Larry, Randy , Debbie and your families at this sad time of your loss. God Bless you for your precious care for him as his health declined.
Thank you Uncle Buster for precious memories and loving examples forever to remain !
Love to all-
Wanda and John Sparling

Buster was a kindhearted man with always a hint of mischief in his twinkling eyes. I know he will be sorely missed by Marian, Larry, Randy and Debbie and extended family. There is a large Belwood community waiting to greet him.

Arthur and Buster were very close brothers. So it's no surprise Buster was Best Man at his wedding. My favorite memories are around harvest time. The two brothers always helped each other bring in the harvest and it was always filled with laughter thanks to Uncle Buster. Very thankful to have those wonderful memories and I'm sure Dad is welcoming him to the other side. Deepest sympathy to Larry, Randy and Debbie.
