Condolence: I knew Tom -- from: standing in line for the high board at the pool ( you always wondered when Tom looked over the river -if that's where he would rather land ) --to the quarry -- ( Tom phoned me when the GRCA took over ---- he said " they raised the wall by 2' 4" when they put the fence up ) -to -playing tennis over in Mary Hill Sunday mornings ( 2 cars of us learning to play -- Tom/Joe /Jerry/Mike/ Steve/ & others) then coming back to watch Borg/Connors McEnroe play on TV) to- playing ping pong ( I know how good he could be -when he wanted to be)- to our vacations-- to our trips -to the cottage--- stopping @ farms for sweets and fresh corn -- and listening to "Radio Classics' on XM -( yes I'm talking about radio mysteries from the 40's /50's)- I knew how many books he read --we traded all the time --and Otto/Diana/Dave --you knew Tom's feelings about "March Madness"-- and we all knew Tom-- from his photo's --- (Deb and I were so proud --when Tom announced --"I'm doing the photo's and "wedding book" for Jason/Christine's wedding" we have that forever -- **** a small mention about dragging back and forth in front of "Christian Island" --behind the boat --Tom was going to skip skiing on two --and go straight to slalom-- "we knew how that turned out "
over 50 years ---we got to know Tom's heart --- the last 6 months we were privileged --- to see and know his soul --
