Our friendship with Stewart goes back to school days in the early 60's and later came dozens of deals mostly involving concrete anywhere from less than $100 to $100,000 plus .I dont think in the world we live in today that very often you get two guys that carry on business on a variety of projects on various locations for something approaching 45 years and at the end of the day can say it was good for everybody .I'm for sure able to say that . I will forever admire that ability to stand on a bare piece of ground and picture the end result ( in a matter of minutes ) with respect to drainage , other buildings, laneways, turning room etc . If you believe that history will judge us all than you have to think that Stewart Smith will cast a very long shadow and that the things that really matter like his sense of honour, pride, and commitment will hold him in  high regard for many decades to come .
