Ray was a man of intense integrity. There was never any pretentiousness, fakery or a wanna-be about him. What you saw was what you got. I admired his shoot from the hip and call it as he saw it style. He was one of the few people who didn't judge me, while maintaining an open minded curiousity about things around him. It was an honour to know him. I know heaven needs some fixing up here and there, and Ray already strapped on his tool belt and is hard at work. Cheers buddy!

This is such sad news. Ray was my hero when I was growing up. A tireless and talented individual. Ray could make anything out of almost anything. He was my first glimpse of what a real genius is. I’m glad we were able to re-connect during the last few years. But now I am so terribly sad and will miss him so.
I've attached a photo of Ray with one of his many inventions / creations / brilliant inspirations.
Condolences and best of respect to his family to all who were lucky to know and spend time with him.

Our family was very saddened to hear of Ray's passing. Although we haven't seen each other through the years we have many fond memories of Ray, Barb, Cathy and Frank swimming down at our pond ,and the winter afternoons out snow mobiling . We are sending comforting hugs to all. We hope you feel surrounded by much love and will keep you all in our prayers.

Bob, Brad and Mike with heavy hearts we send our most deepest condolence at the sudden loss of your father. He was a truly great friend always willing to lend a hand with anything. I can remember be a time when you were young boys
and we all went fishing and Bob caught a huge
Muskie and it took all of you to reel it in and get
him in, the boat was rocking and you guys were
yelling so excited! We had some really great times and will hold on to so many great memories!
