I've lived beside Mildred for almost ten years and has been a great neighbour. I'll never forget the night near Christmas that my roommate at the time and I popped over with a couple things for her and her husband as she always brought over cookies.
It was that same day that her husband moved from their home to the nursing home so was home alone.
We ended up staying to visit for a couple hours and finishing a bottle of wine with her.
It was as if we were meant to visit that day.

Our sincere condolences to Mildred's family.
We lived beside Mildred and Jim for 8 years while our kids were young. Our kids are all grown up and they still talk about Mildred's gingerbread men at Halloween. She'll be missed for sure. .....Dan & Marj Allen

My sincere condolences to your family. Mildred was a wonderful person. I remember her putting up with the antics of my dad and her brother George and possibly some others when they were going to school. One tale I remember was the boys eating wild leeks at lunch break and the formidable Miss Rae sending them all home early. The Mitchell’s and Anderson’s were well known for getting together and playing euchre with much slamming of fists on the table. Plus going swimming across the way at the quarry across from uncle Percys farm. There are so many stories but we will all fondly remember Mildred. I won’t be ar the visitation since I am having issues with my eyesight but my thoughts will be with you all. Love Betty Anderson
