It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Hammond at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital, Fergus, on Thursday June 3rd, 2004 in her 94th year. Margaret will be greatly missed by her children, Helen of Hamilton, David (Doreen) of Elora and Margaret Ann (Frank) of Ottawa and son-in-law Harvey Metcalfe of Fergus. Dear grandmother of Blake (Glenna) Metcalfe of Dundas and Stephen Metcalfe of Fergus and great grandchildren Nikole, Mackenzie and Holly, step grandchildren, Heather, Gary and Steve. Dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Elias (Scotty) 1965; daughter Jean Metcalfe (1984) and sisters Mary (Swanston), Jean (Fasken), Pat (Catto) and Bessie (Catto). Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St., Elora on Friday June 4th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday June 5th, 2004 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Kees Vandermey officiating. Interment in Elora Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Elora.
