Oh Bev -- do you remember all those "fights" we had as kids and then on Friday night, we'd make up and one week you'd stay overnight with me and the next week, I'd sleep overnight with you. Both our mothers were so gracious -- they just accepted each of us for who we were! I remember your beautiful mother's face -- always smiling, always kind, so understanding...I have to still go through the hurt and missing of my Mom the way you have over this past year and I can only imagine what it has been like for you.
Know that you are always in my heart and mind as you remember your Mom -- "firsts" are always the worst; but your Mom's memory will NEVER fade. I know that Deanna, Doris, Jane, and I will always remember those crazy times when we were kids and your Mom always made us feel welcome when we'd have a pj party. I'll always remember Mrs. Bell and your home -- not just a house with 5 girls; but a home -- welcoming, loving, giving and just plain old-fashioned fun. God bless, Bev! Take care! Wendy
