Born in Fergus, Ontario. Loving husband of Jackie Clayton (nee Lindeman) and doting father of Anika Clayton. Son of Douglas Clayton (deceased) and Joan Milne (nee Shortt). Dear brother of John Clayton and wife Heather. Uncle to Nolan and Abby. Also brother of Michael Clayton and partner Bobbi Stock-Dykeman. Son-in-law to Hank and Helen Lindeman. Brother-in-law to Richard and Darlene Creed. Uncle to Danielle and Jesse Guite and Dylan Creed. Great uncle to Emma and Ruby.
Kevin was a friend to everyone and was the most nonjudgmental person you could ever meet. He took life in stride and rarely complained about life's challenges. An avid hockey lover for his beloved Montreal Canadiens, he loved to convince his non loving Habs fans that they were missing out on his parade of love and faithfulness. He also loved Formula One Racing and loved to watch the Olympics. An avid Snooker pool player in his early days, he was quite the pool shark and had a glowing reputation for cleaning a table with ease. He loved to go driving and exploring in the car and always had a thirst for wanting to see the world and the open road. An avid Star Trek and Star Wars fan, he lived his life by the code of the space frontier and welcomed new people and innovative ideas to his outlook on life and adventure. He was a special man and will be always remembered for his unique spirit and selflessness. "Live long and Prosper" to all his friends far and near.

Kevin was a kind and loving person and never had a negative word to say about anyone else. He was always a pleasure to have at the reunion and always had a smile on his face and always had conversation to share. He will be missed by all.

Diabetes and the accompanying Kidney Disease put Kevin in a different place than everyone else his age. Watching this disease process ravage his body was hard for all those close to him! Kevin showed eternal hope. His wife Jackie and daughter Anika advocated tirelessly and utilized all support systems available to keep him home. Kevin loved family and family events above all else. He loved verbal sparring matches about two of his favourite topics…the Montreal Canadiens and politics! Happy that Kevin’s painful struggle has ended but he will be greatly missed!
