Peacefully at his home, in the arms of his “girls”, Ken was called into the presence of his Lord. Missed greatly by the loves of his life, his best friend and beloved wife Jean and his precious most loved daughter Ashleigh. To know Ken was to love him – man of faith and integrity, loving, patient, kind, selfless, gentle, sincere, always giving of himself and attentive to the needs of others, a wonderful friend and prayer partner. He served in many capacities at Bethel Baptist Church – from missions to video and audio support. He loved to sing and sang with joy in the cantata this past Christmas. He had a marvelous memory for Bible verses and drama. He worked for many years as Software Quality Engineer at Raytheon Canada in Waterloo. For 40 years he enjoyed spending summer at Fair Havens Ministries “at the trailer” – encouraging and praying for others. Lovingly remembered by his sister Pat (Clare) Newson, sister in law Nancy and Howard Coneybeare, brother in law Scott Bulmer(Laura) and nieces and nephews Michelle and John Mann and family, Sonya and Craig Young and family, Denver and Meaghan Coneybeare and Dawson Coneybeare. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Monday, February 4th form 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at Bethel Baptist Church 675 Victoria Terrace in Fergus, on Tuesday, February 5th at 2:00pm.
