December 28, 1926 – August 27, 2012. It is with great sadness, and enduring love, that we announce the passing of Captain John (Jack) Harcourt at Wellington Terrace Home in Fergus , ON, in his 86th year. Loving husband of the late Joan (Dunbar) Harcourt (2010) and predeceased by his son Thomas (1979) and brothers William (2005) and Thomas (1971). John is survived by his sister-in-law Nada Harcourt of Toronto, his children Sarah Parkes, William (Marcia), John, Jane Abate (Sebastian), Kelly Gillespie(Michael), Robert (Katherine) and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the care that John received at Wellington Terrace. A funeral mass will be held at Church of Our Lady, Guelph on Friday, August 31, 2012 at11:00 am. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at Marymount Cemetery at a later date.
