Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday Feb 4th, 2004. Grant Giesel, in his 67th year beloved husband, partner and best friend of Ann (nee Schenk). Dear father of Eric and his friend Bridget Doyle of Elora, Jim and his wife Diane of Fergus, Jeff of Elora, and Sandi and her husband Jim Stienstra of Fergus. Cherished papa of Tyler, Victoria, Tavis, Nicole, Chelsea, Tom, Carly. Dear brother of Hazel Johnston and her husband Robert, Marion Fortin and twin brother Roy and his wife Shirley. Brother in law of John and Leslie Schenk, Han Schenk and Gary and Rose Schenk. Grant is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and other family members. Pre-deceased by his son Johnnie (1962) and parents Walter and Gretel Giezel. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL,37 Church Street Elora. From 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 267 Geddes Street, Elora, on Saturday February 7th, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. Fr.
