I am sure that George is in Heaven's garden tilling away best he can and enjoying every moment of it! George and Dorothy were 2 of the first couples I had a chance to meet and work with in Tourism here in Fergus and now Centre Wellington. The pride in their farm "Maplecrest" was evident and was a home for many meetings of BB's,IPM, Potters, Studio Tour, FEBBA, and the Ontario Farm Accomodators as well. George's calm nature, gentle spirit will be missed at so many community organizations, events and activities. I always enjoyed a pleasant chat with George when ever we crossed paths and I will miss his pleasant nature.All of us at Elora Fergus Tourism extend our deepest sympathy to Dorothy and Family and wish that they take comfort in fond memories and laughter shared with George.
