I am sorry to hear of our Mum's death. She and her sister, Barbara were cousins of my father George Bennet Pope, son of Constance Winnifred Dobbin of Peterborough. Several years ago Barb contacted my mother Beryl Pope with reference to geneological information she was gathering on the Dobbin Family. She said she was in contact with someone in California who had information on the family. After my mother died a couple of years ago, I found a letter from Barb asking for information on the Pope family to fill into the family tree. I remember filling in the information she wanted and sending it along to her in Winnipeg. Unfortunately as my mother grew older so did Barb and we eventually lost touch. My cousin, Louise Pope who lives in Barrie, is working on the family tree and i was wondering if there is anyone in your family with access to the research that Barb did.
