Our spunky, little Irish daughter/sister/aunt born March 17,1954: passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014, after a brave battle with cancer. She was a daughter of June and Darwin (2010) McGonegal of Elora. She will be missed by her sisters: Jan (Bob) Muir, Kate (Lyman) Smith, Bonnie Martin and her brothers Rod and Carm. She will be remembered by nephews: Rich (Paula) Muir, Paul (Laura) Muir, Ryan Smith, Evan Martin and Kyle Martin and niece Annica Smith and their families. Predeceased by niece Carolyn Muir (2000). Special thanks to all the members of the health and palliative care team that made her final journey alongside her, including: Guelph General Hospital: Oncology, CCAC Waterloo-Wellington, Bayshore Nurses, Personal Support Workers and the Grand River Cancer Centre. At Colleen’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family service is planned. Burial in the Elora cemetery.
