I will miss you my dear friend
I will never forget my dear friend Ana. We had lots of good memories together when she was working at City of Kitchener. Her thoughtfulness was one of her great qualities that I admired most, in fact, when I received my Canadian citizenship in 2005, she was there at the Citizenship & Immigration Office to celebrate with me and she even gave me mementos (Canadian shirt & Canadian pin) for being a full-fledged Canadian.
Her favourite restaurant was Ye's Sushi and we used to eat there almost once a week. At the time, her favourite items in the menu were the hand roll with mango & the #42 - Dragon Shrimp Roll. She could order without the menu book because she remembered all our favourite items in the menu including their item numbers.
I remember the day when I mentioned to her the song "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz. She went to Youtube and listened to it, she loved it and the following day, she bought the CD. From then on, it became one of her favourite songs.
Robin Sharma was one of Ana's favourite authors and the very first book that she read was "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari". She suggested that I read this book which I did. I'm now Robin's follower and for sure, everytime I read a book of Robin Sharma, I will remember Ana.
I will never forget Ana's beautiful smile. Her positive attitude was admirable. She was a person who's beautiful inside and out.
She will remain in my heart forever... I will miss you my dear friend. Love, Marilyn
