Amber was a new friend to me. We had participated in the same choir for a few years, but we only got to know each other better last fall. Amber's sweet and gentle spirit touched my life in a very special way and I am grateful to Amber and to Roy for the gift of their friendship. Amber was a creative young woman. She enthusiastically participated in art workhshops with me over the last couple of months. She had an eye for colour and showed courage and curiousity when trying new things. I'll miss you Amber. I'll never look at a silk scarf without thinking of you.
