When I met Jim

When I first met jim it was in September of 2010(I was 21 years old). I had just finished all my training at Schneider National. He was warm and inviting. God I was so nervous. He showed me to a room and kindly explained what he wanted to me do with the huge test in front of me. This was my SQT and all can remember while doing it was how it all comes down to this test. Everytime I met or ran into him regardless of where we was or what he was doing he was always there for the driver. ALWAYS. In the 2 short years I spent employed by Schneider National Jim taught me that if your going to do something, do it with heart, pride, honesty, respect and integrity. Him being such a role model to me has helped me not only in my professional life but also in my personal one as well. I am now 30 years old and still trucking. Though the companies have changed, my friends haven't I have many memories of Jim that I will cherish for a lifetime to come. I am proud to say he is my friend and I am grateful to have known him. I am very sorry for your loss Bender Family. Sincerely Mike Bourque 72248
