Obituary for William John Ralph "Sonny" Lee

William John Ralph "Sonny"  Lee
Passed away peacefully following a brave battle, with his family by his side at the Owen Sound General Hospital in Owen Sound, Ontario, on April 2 , 2013. Sonny Lee of Lions Head in his 75th yr., beloved husband and best friend of Nancy “Nan” (Vasey) for 54years. Loving father of Jamie (Ron) Jackson, Lantzville, B.C., Becky (Tim) Pyke, Salem, Ont., Mindy (Terry) Kelloway, Parksville, B.C. and Brett (Cheryl Anne), Aulac N.B. Devoted Grampa of Josh(Adrienne), Jessica (Grant), Matthew, Curtis, Reed, Spencer, Chelsea, Tamara, Courtney , Taylor, Breanne, Dalton, and Garrett. Dearest Great Grampa of Sebastian and Gabriel. Eldest Brother of Maureen (Robin), Anne(Ralph), Carol(Earl), and Reagan (Sharlene Ireland) Beloved brother in-law of Lyn and Wendy. Sonny is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and other family members. He is pre-deceased by his parents William White Lee, born in Hetton-le-Hole, England, Annie Clements, born in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, sister Wilma Jean, mother-in-law Lois Vasey, father-in-law Claude and Agnes Vasey, and beloved brother in-law Jerry Vasey. Sonny worked at GSW Water Heating for 37 years and the Village of Elora for 11 years. He enjoyed life to the fullest, be it travelling the world or puttering in his garden. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 37 Church Street, Elora on Sunday, April 7th, 2013 7:00-9:00 pm.and Monday April 8th, 2013 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Service will be held at ST JOHNS ANGLICAN CHURCH 36 Henderson St, Elora on Tuesday, April 9th, 2013 at 11:00 am, followed by interment at the Elora Cemetery.
