After a lengthy battle with cancer, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, on October 25th, 2006 in his 89th year. George will be greatly missed by his children Donna Hughson (John), John Cook, Patsy Mueller (Frank) and Jerry Arnold (Katherine). Fondly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Survived by his brothers Henry, Raymond, Malkie, Eddie and Larry and his sisters Alice and Mary. Predeceased by his son George (2002). Friends are invited to a Funeral Service to be conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Saturday, October 28th 2006 at 2:00pm, with visitation from 12:00pm. Interment to follow.
