Black, William (Bill) - 1928-2008. Suddenly after a brief illness on Saturday September 27, 2008 with his family at his side at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus. Beloved husband and best friend of Arnetta Black (Jackson). Loved father of Bill (Kelly) of Athabasca Alberta, David of Belwood and Brian (Ann) of Rockwood. Dearest grandfather of Robyn, Kaitlin, Kyle, Tyler, Rachel and Megan. Bill is survived by 2 sisters and 7 brothers and many nieces and nephews and other family members. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Monday September 29th from 7-9pm and Tuesday September 30th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 325 St. George St. West in Fergus, on Wednesday October 1st at 11:00am. Interment of cremated remains will held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph.
