passed away at Highland Manor Retirement Home on November 5, 2016 in his 90th year.
Bill has gone to be with his loving wife Peg, of 64 years. Cherished Dad to Gail (Wayne) Tonkin and Wayne (Sandra) Beirnes. Special Grandpa to Sheri (Tim) Cooper, Shane (Brittney) Tonkin, Jennifer (Andrew) Fenwick, Tricia Beirnes and Cheryl (Matt) Challice. Great Grandpa to Erin, Brayden, Ryan, Rachel, Matraca, Serena, Olivia, Brody, Spencer, Aidyn, Izaak and Gavin. Bill will be remembered by brother in law Bob Gear, sisters in law Joan Gear and Loreen Gear as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Mark Beirnes, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Family and friends may visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. S, Fergus on Tuesday November 8 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday November 9 2016 at 11:00am in the chapel of the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus.
