McGowan, William Jackson passed away February 14, 2021 at Caressant Care Arthur at age 78. Passed just before his 79th birthday with his loving wife by his side. Married and much loved by his wife Pat of 46 years. Loving father of Bradley, Bryce and Allison (Mark). Cherished Papa of Rose, Sara, Jackson and Brennen. Predeceased by parents Edna and Harry and sister Wanda. Loved Brother of Nelda, Erla and Debra. Remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Born and raised in Marsville. Bill enjoyed playing and coaching his kids in hockey and baseball. He enjoyed the outdoors whether camping or biking. Spent many hours gardening or just puttering around the house. Bill enjoyed life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by many.

Cremation has taken place and the family will have a Memorial and Celebration of Bill’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a donation can consider the Alzheimer’s Society or Groves Hospital Foundation.
