Obituary for Wilhelmina Webers (Snyders)

WEBERS, Wilhelmina (Nee: Snyders)
Nov 29,1939-Feb 22, 2024

On February 22nd, an angel reached down and took the hand of Wilhelmina to guide her to her eternal home.
Wilhelmina was born in Someren, Holland to Martina(Berkers) and Anthony Snyders. They immigrated to Canada in 1953 where they farmed and worshipped. She served and practiced her faith in the R.C. parishes of Kenilworth, Fergus and Elora. In 1960, Wilhelmina married the love of her life Ted(2017), and raised her children Gary(Sandy), Tony(Peggy) and Cathy(John). While raising her family, she supported her husband in their excavating business. She was the precious “big” sister to her mischievous brothers, William(1944), Joseph(1991)(Sandy), Albert(Gail), Bill(Barb), Tony(2011)(Sandy), Martin(Ann) and Harry. Wilhelmina was the sweetest grandma to 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She always had a snack handy and would laugh or cry at stories told and adventures experienced. Wilhelmina enjoyed working in her flowerbeds and new blossoms brought her joy and pleasure. Anyone coming to her door was welcomed with an open heart and lively conversation. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, friends, neighbours, customers and acquaintances.
A heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors who cared for Wilhelmina (and her family) with kindness and compassion, you are true angels in your calling. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus, on Friday March 1st, between the hours of 7-9pm. Burial of her casket will occur in the spring of 2024. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be directed towards The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Salvation Army. www.grahamgiddyfh.com (519)843-3100
