Obituary for Wayne Louis Steinhofer
It is with heavy hearts our family announces the sudden passing of Wayne Steinhofer on Monday August 30th, 2021. Wayne is survived by his 2 daughters Andrea (Skopliak) and Tania. He also is survived by his four grandchildren, Caleb, Jacqueline, Alex and Abigayle.
Wayne was a sports fan. He spent most of his time watching sports, going to the races or playing golf with his longtime friends and beloved grandson Caleb.
Some of Wayne’s happiest moments occurred early on when he attended his grandchildren’s sporting events. He also thoroughly enjoyed time with his friends and spoke about them often. Andrea and Tania are both grateful for his friends and how they helped him through many tough times.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Mandarin restaurant in Brampton for their empathy and care towards Wayne. Special gratitude also goes to the Senior Building where he lived on Scott Street in Brampton for many years.
There will be a visitation Saturday September 11th at 10:00-11:00 am with a short service and prayer following. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Knight’s Table in Brampton.
