Passed away peacefully, on Thursday June 10 2010, in his home surrounded by family. Loving father of Charles (Catherine), Natalie (Eric), Opa of Hannah, Cameron and Chloe, and step-grandfather of Jesse and Trevor. Loving brother of Paul (Lisa), uncle of Manuel (Gabi) and great-uncle of Nadja.Pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 35 years, Jeannette.Born in Hamburg, Germany, Walter immigrated to Montreal, Que. in 1954 where he met his wife. They relocated to the K W area in 1982 to finally settle in Elora in 1985. He held great pride in his 33 years of service to Johnson and Johnson, after his retirement, took pride in his lovely home and family. Visitation will be held on Monday June 14 from 11 – 1 pm at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St. E., Elora, followed by interment at 1pm at St.Mary’s Cemetery in Elora.
