In her 104th year, died peacefully on November 26th at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus.

Wife of the late Jeffery Martin (1997). Predeceased by parents Jacob and Annie (Spies) Bender, brother Harry Bender and sisters Ella Allan and Ruby Bauman. Violet will be remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families, cousins and other extended family and by many friends from the Alma, Arthur and Fergus areas where she lived all her life.

Funeral in the chapel at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus on Saturday November 29th at 2pm with visitation 1hr prior to the service. A private interment in the spring at the Greenfield Cemetery in Arthur.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who visited with and supported Violet in so many ways over the past many years, especially since her husband Jeff’s passing. Special thanks to Dr. Landoni and the staff of the Highland Manor.
