Passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace Home for the Aged in Elora on Saturday August 09, 2003, aged 92 years. Dear mother of Shirley Fawcett of Toronto, Ronald and his wife Joan of Calgary, Ernest and his wife Yvonne of Kitchener and Byron and his wife Carol of Belwood. Sadly missed by 23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Byron (1986), her parents Ernest and Elizabeth Hall, her brothers Albert and Roy, her sisters Edna and Dorothy and her son-in-law Art. Byron and Violet operated the Grocery Store in Elora from 1945 to 1973. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 37 Church St., Elora on Tuesday August 12 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held from the Knox Presbyterian Church, Elora on Wednesday August 13 at 2:00 PM. With Rev Kees Vandermey officiating at the service. Interment in Elora Cemetery. A reception will follow the service at the R. C.
