Peacefully on Monday August 30, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener. Viola Rucker (nee Straub) of Fergus, age 68 years. Loving mother of Debbie and her husband Jeff Ostic of Fergus and Randy Rucker and his wife Jennifer of Calgary, Alberta. Dearest oma of Lauren, Courtney, and Chris Ostic of Fergus, Sean, Jason and Jamie Rucker of Burlington. Vi is also survived by Debbie and Randy's father Ray of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by her brothers Dan (Jennie) Straub, Albert (Maureen) Straub, all of Calgary, and Ben (Bea) Straub of California, and sister Ruth Cameron of Calgary, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Vi was predeceased by her three brothers Reuben, Walter and Roy and her sister Elsie Schultz. At Vi's request, a memorial celebration will be held by the family at a later date.
