Passed peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on December 6th in his 96th year. Cherished and loved husband to Dorothy, in their 73rd year of marriage. Beloved father of Jim (Linda) Ross, Linda (Alex) Sutherland, Shirley (Ron) Bond, Joanne Ross-Zuj, and John Ross. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A WWII veteran with the 1st Canadian Regiment during the Italian Campaign, Vic lived a lifetime of service with great community involvement. Visitation will take place at the Graham A. Giddy funeral home, 37 Church Street, Elora, on Wednesday, December,11th 2013, from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Legion service will be held at 6:45pm.
