Dear grandma of Alana (Paul) Drone, Lori (Paul) Shantz, Stacey (Heather) Bilton, Corey (Michelle) Bilton, Kaley (Rob) Hummel, Shelbi (James) McIntyre, Megan (Riley) Yule, Shayne Bilton and Rylee Jefferson. Dear Great Grandma to, Mayson, Dylan, Nate, Cortney, Julia, Ashley, Darien, Tyson, Peyton, Kirsten, Nolan, J.J., Kallie, Blake and Great great Grandma to Wesley. Mom was predeceased by Son Gary (2022), Sisters Ida Smith, Marjorie Taylor, Irene Beaman, and brothers Gordon Davidson and George Davidson. She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Mom lived most of her adult life in the Belwood and Fergus areas and was a dedicated member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fergus Legion. For many years Mom delivered mail in the Belwood rural area through all kinds of weather, she then went on to work at Savage Shoe and then enjoyed many years of retirement which were filled with bingo in the Fergus and Guelph area, volunteering with the Women’s Auxiliary and being an active participant in the Legions activities. She was an extremely dedicated Blue Jay Fan and spent many hours in front of the TV. Her last seven years were spent at Royal Terrace and we wish to extend our most sincere appreciation to the staff for their care and concern each and every day.

At this time there will be no service, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mom’s life will take place at a later date to be determined. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Canadian Legion, Fergus Branch. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus
