Greenwood, Thomas James,Passed away in Fergus on July 26th in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Peggy Greenwood(nee:Nash) of Elora and dear brother of Violet Driscoll, Olive Purdy, Bernice Glowe all of Toronto, Raymond of Prince Edward Island and Robert(Bob) and his wife Joan of Newmarket. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 4 nephews. Tom was predeceased by his brother Elmer Greenwood. Tom was born in East Luther Township, Dufferin County, where the family farmed until the early 1950’s when they moved to the Fergus area. After working at General Farming for a short time, Tom decided to go into the mink business, building up a sizeable operation which he ran until his retirement in 1986. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home 280 St. David St. South, Fergus, Ontario, on Thursday July 28th from 7-9 pm and on Friday July 29th from 1-2pm followed by the funeral service.
