Passed away peacefully at The Guelph General Hospital surrounded by his family in his 80th year.
Ted and his loving wife Wilhemina were married on July 23rd 1960 and was the son of Gerhard Webers and Alieda Platen. He will be sadly missed by his children Gary(Sandy), Tony(Peggy) and Cathy(John) as well as his 9 grandchildren Robbie, Charmain, Michael, Michelle, Jason, Daniel, Samantha, Kimberly and Cynthia. Ted also has 6 great grandchildren Aurora, Anna, Madeline, Myia, Ava, Aurora and is also survived by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Ted was a true worker and excavator. He provided for our family as we all grew to adulthood. His passion was to dig holes, move dirt and talk with his hands in his pockets. Visitation for Ted will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus on Friday November 3rd between the hours of 7pm and 9pm.
