Passed away Peacefully On Sunday March 27th at Groves Hospital in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Stanley C. Steane in 1984. She will be missed by her son Donald Steane(Cheryl). She will also be missed by her granddaughter Dawn Ann Steane and by her step-grandchildren Dylan, Amanda and Andrea. Also survived by her siblings Frances Polhill and Ollie Pretlac. She is predeceased by her son Douglas A. Steane. People are welcome to meet at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street Elora between 2:00 and 2:45pm on Friday April 1st. There will be a grave side service for Sylvia at 3:00pm in the Elora Cemetery.
