Peacefully in his 87th year at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus on September 24, 2007. Survived by his loving wife Joe, and sisters Samarra and Jennifer. Will be deeply missed by many other family members in Canada and in England. George retired from teaching at the University of Waterloo - School of Urban and Region Planning in 1988, he was also a long time supporter of the Elora Festival. A Celebration of Life will be held at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 37 CHURCH ST, ELORA. On Thursday, October 4th, 2007 at 2pm., in the funeral home chapel. Cremation has taken place.
