On May 2nd, 2016 Sho Hirota of Fergus, passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital. Sho will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years, Norma and his children Shona, Kaylin (Peter), Logan and Kenden. Sho was Grandpa to Philip, Ashley, Halle, Erica and Jessica. He will be remembered by his sisters Mary, Eleanor, Yosh, and many other family members. Sho was predeceased by his parents Kiichiro and Kikue.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 190 Marksam Road, Guelph from 10:00 am-12:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm. There will be a private family burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
