Calvert, Sheila
Sheila Calvert passed away on June 16 th , 2020 at Wellington Terrace Nursing Home, due to
complications of dementia. She was 79 years old.
Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe Cipparrone (Joe the Barber) 1991. Loving mother of Louise
(Dean) Taylor, Nina (Mike) Hundertmark, Frank (Lori) Cipparrone and Joe (Kathy) Cipparrone

Born in North Bay on April 7 th , 1941, Sheila spent most of her life in the Lakeview area in

Prior to her retirement, Sheila was a Behavioural Teaching Assistant with the Peel District School

Sheila was a wonderful cook and liked nothing more than having her family come by for a

church. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
The family would like to thank Wellington Terrace for the wonderful care Sheila received while

I was so sad to read in the Mississauga News that Sheila has passed away, please accept my sincere condolences. Sheila and I attended Gordon Graydon High School together and our lives intertwined many times over the years through volunteering at Byngmount Beach Elementary School and the Cawthra Baseball Association where our children played and the girls coached. Over the years we often spoke of your father “Joe the Barber” as he was a Lakeview legend and the conversations always included your Mom, I can still see her today standing on the porch of your house on Greaves, exchanging stories of our children. The barbershop still stands today and has changed hands more times than I can mention, never a successful business since your Dad’s Barber Shop. Please cherish your memories, Sheila as a wonderful wife and mother and for many years, a great friend who was a very hard worker in the Lakeview Community. She is remembered with love. Sincerely, Sandy Hogan

Sheila was a wonderful friend and euchre player to my mother-in-law Frances Maitland. Sheila was a sweetheart and I enjoyed her company as well! She was always pleasant and loved to stop and reminisce. May she Rest In Peace!
