Passed away peacefully on October 17, 2013 at the age of 86. She was surrounded by her loving family at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Predeceased by her husband James on April 7, 2007. Loving mother to Jim and his wife Carol, Pat and her husband Dan, Paul and his wife Lynda, Ann and her husband Ron, Mike and his wife Cindy and Peter and his wife Linda. Predeceased by her daughters Mary & Ruthie. She will be missed by 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Ruth was also predeceased by her brothers Charles and Robert and sisters Dorothy, Irene and Audrey. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. south in Fergus, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
