Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, on Monday, December 05, 2016 in his 94th year. Roy will be remembered by his daughter Brenda Day and his son William Nixon. Survived by his sister Ruth Dirstein (Gerry) and his brother Kenneth. Roy was predeceased by his 6 brothers and 4 sisters. The family would like to thank Paul Noonan and Barbara Reid for their endless care and support. Memorial Service for Roy will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, December 11th, 2016 at 2:00pm. Memorial donations can be directed to the Groves Memorial Hospital Building Fund.
