After a lengthy illness, Roy passed away at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, on May 3, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Devoted Dad to Roy and Charlene, and Robyn and Raymond Schindler. Loving Papa to Emma, Brittney, Connor, Breanne, Austin, Griffin, Ahron, Madeline. Survived by sisters Jean, Beryle, and Daphne. Predeceased by his wife Margaret (1998) and brothers Harold, Ken and sister June.Roy’s family will receive friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Sunday, May 6th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 7th at 10am. Interment at Pinehills Cemetery in Scarborough with graveside service at 2pm.
