Peacefully with his family by his side at The Hospice Wellington in Guelph on Wednesday July 25th, 2012. Ross T. Chalmers of Fergus in his 79th year, beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Dixon (2002). Loving father of Wayne and his wife Patti of Trout Creek, Paul and his wife Mimi of Cambridge and Brenda Rogers of Palmerston. Dearest grandpa of Shawn, Chance, Jadie, Shane, Ethan, Katie, Timothy, Brox, Taylor and great granddaughter Alexis. Dear brother of Bev Shields of Whitby and Wilma and Bill Kingstone of Gilmour. Companion of Joan Lytle of Fergus. Ross will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and other family. Predeceased by his grandson Christopher James (1999) and sister Sharon Malette. Loved son of the late Theadore and Mabel Chalmers. Visitation for Ross will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Saturday July 28th from 11-1pm followed by the funeral service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 1pm that same day.
