Rose Thomson
Rose Thomson, age 81, of Guelph, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in the early evening, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Chesley Ontario, surrounded by her family. During her final months, she remained positive and fun loving. Rose chose to spend the time she had remaining and make the most of it, connecting with friends, spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, and causing general mischief at the Cedar Rail Campground in Scone, her home away from home. She will be greatly missed by her children, Chris Mueller (Misty), Terri Sider, Linda Koch (Jim), Sherri-Lynn Teri (Rod Runzer), and Jennifer Vettor (Paolo), along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rose made a “memorable” impact wherever she went and developed many
meaningful friendships and delighted in all the care, encouragement, love and laughter they shared with her, especially in the last few months.
A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday October 14th at 1:00 pm at the All Saints Lutheran Anglican Church, 210 Silvercreek Pkwy, Guelph (Parish Hall). Friends may visit with the family beginning at 12:00pm till service time (1:00pm). Rose was a playful, fun loving woman and it was her wish that the day be filled with love, laughter and the sharing of joyful memories. Memorial donations may be made to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, 39 2nd Street Southeast, Chesley ON N0G 1L0 or charity of your choice. The family would like to extend their heart-felt gratitude to everyone who reached out with concern and loving support. www.grahamgiddyfh.com
