Obituary for Ronald Douglas "Ron" Noble

NOBLE, RONALD DOUGLAS - Barrister & Solicitor
Ron Noble of Meaford, and formerly of Fergus, passed away peacefully at Errinrung Nursing Home with his family by his side on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the age of 78.
Born on April 19, 1941 in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Ron was a son of the late Neville and Alice (nee Mavor) Noble.
For over 54 years, Ron was the beloved husband of Ruthann Noble (nee Litt) of Meaford.
He was the proud father of Amy Noble of Elora, Sarah Noble (Adam Gertzbein) of Fergus, and Andrew Noble (Zak Castle) of Meaford. He was the loving ‘Grampie’ of Andrew, Ella, and Nathan.
Ron was the dear brother of Anne Kennedy (late Ike) of Thornbury and Eleanor Shaw (Gary) also of Thornbury, and was the fun-loving uncle of Allie, Lib, Andrea, Aaron and Andrew Peter. He was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Noble and his brother Peter Noble (Diane).
Ron began his professional career as an elementary school teacher in Kitchener. In 1970 he began his career in law, and continued to practice law in the Guelph area for 44 years. Ron’s many interests included the arts, culture and ‘collecting’.
Family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 5 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at Christ Church Anglican in Meaford on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 11 o’clock.
