He was a great friend. Ron always had a shoulder to cry on, and I used it often. It is a shame that he is gone so soon, and he will be missed by many!
Love, Michelle Hynes

Ron's passing really caught me off guard. I knew Ron for many years we had awesome times that involved a lot of laughter, and that's what I'm going miss the most is his laugh it was unique and contagious.
The world will be a lesser place without him, but even though he is with God and the Angels and showing the them a few trick shots in pool he will and always be sorely missed.

Ron was a beautiful man, and had a heart the size of our world. He will be dearly missed, he will never be forgotten. He has given back so much. I will miss our brunches get together. Our coffee get togethers. Even Our Billiards team, since I have played in 2013, he has brought so much laughter and fun bringing the team together. It has never been a dull moment with this man, who I felt was an amazing friend, a great mentor and most importantly cared about others so much!! We all love you Ron, you will always be in our hearts.

I was so sad to read about Ron's passing. I used to work with him at Canadian General Electric., we took an apprenticeship course together for 5 years, he was a kind and considerate person, we got along quite well. I remember when we doing the course, we were on Highway # 7 in Kitchener, it was a bad night and it was snowing and really slippery, we sat in his van for hours just talking until the sanders came by. He also used to be a faithful "Timmies" guy, always saw him sitting in his van or inside at the Tim Horton's on Victoria and York Rd. Guelph. He went too soon. My sincere condolences to his family.
Neil Dudley, formally from Guelph, but, now retired in P.E.I
